THE PROJECT.
Network. The KEEN project and afterward network will implement measures focusing on knowledge and skill development, research collaboration, engagement with stakeholders, and support of entrepreneurial initiative with relevant academic knowledge.
Objective. The overall objective of the KEEN project is to strengthen the research excellence of Kaunas University of Technology (Lithuania) in entrepreneurship, improve its capacities to exploit and disseminate its research outputs, and enhance its ability to engage the public in its research and entrepreneurship awareness, understanding, and acceptance.
“Knowledge- Empowered Entrepreneurship Network” will sustain after the project and focus on building capacities to
develop public engagement in entrepreneurship research in low-innovativeness level EU countries such as Lithuania.
The network will allow:
1) to co-create more socially-relevant research with multiple actors such as policy makers,
citizens, industrials or NGOs;
2) improve access by the public to research results;
3) foster entrepreneurship policy development more in phase with the needs and expectations of the society.

Project mision.
To implement the concept, the KEEN project will create a long-term collaboration between the four partners - the KEEN network. The network will have the following mission:
•Create a platform for knowledge sharing and skill training through communities of practice.
•Develop research collaborations through these communities of practice.
•Support dissemination and exploitation of the research results via two platforms: the annual KEEN forum held at KTU and the KEEN website.
•Communicate about the impact of the KEEN network to grow the reputation of the consortium internationally and encourage the replication of the approach in other EU countries.
•Create a platform for knowledge sharing and skill training through communities of practice.
•Develop research collaborations through these communities of practice.
•Support dissemination and exploitation of the research results via two platforms: the annual KEEN forum held at KTU and the KEEN website.
